We are NOT our Successes or Failures. We are Divine.
We are NOT our successes or failures, nor our achievements…. If we all knew that and taught it to our children, how much different our inner and outer world would be. So many of us judge ourselves and our worthiness and lovability as human beings by our performance. Most of us learn this in childhood. We are “good girls” or “bad girls,” “good boys,” or “bad boys,” frequently based on something as superficial as a cleanroom or score on a math exam. In life, sometimes we succeed, other times we fail. The economy goes up and down. Situations come and go. We must truly know that we are not what we produce or achieve and we must teach this to our children if we want them to find and sustain true and lasting happiness.
