Sadhviji’s Divine New Years Eve LIVE Satsang: How Can I Stop Blaming Myself?
Tonight’s Divine New Year’s Eve Satsang from the Satsang Hall at Parmarth Niketan was filled with so much love and grace, as our global family across India and around the world came together to experience the inspiration and insights of Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji as she answered questions that helped us all to go deeper into our spiritual path.
The first of those questions was from a family member living abroad who wondered how they could manage their emotions so they don’t run their life and create problems. In response, Sadhviji reminds us that management somehow implies that we’ve gone astray or done something wrong. That if we’re not managed, we’ll go out of control. And that, she shares, is not a healthy attitude to take.
Then, a family member in the Hall shares that she’s not enjoying or doing anything in life – she lives to work. But, she’s stopped everything else – including her spiritual practice. Watch and listen as Sadhviji explains how common this really is – and, how you can avoid falling into the trap of our identity becoming the role that we play.
Next, another family member in the Hall shared that his friend is talking about going into an old-age home at a very early age, and wonders what advice he can give to try to talk her out of it. And, another family member asks if we can be happy without living up to family expectations. Finally, a family member in the Hall asks how to avoid blaming external things for everything that’s wrong, but now he blames himself for everything that’s wrong! Watch and listen to Sadhviji’s eloquent responses!
