Sadhvi Bhagawatiji’s Interview with India TV
During an Interview with India TV on the first International Yoga Day, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji welcomes thousands of pilgrims and participants from over 30 countries and all across India to celebrate Yoga at Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh).
Sadhviji shares that in Rishikesh, better known as the Yoga Capital of the world, every day is really Yoga Day. She shares that while people all around the world can practice Yoga, the sacred banks of Mother Ganga and the lap of the Himalayas particularly attracts people to practice, study and delve into Yoga. She shares that Rishikesh offers not only the teachings but the touch and the transformation of Yoga, because Yoga comprises the very sacred soil, the sacred water and every day life here in this divine city.
She also shares that the beautiful nine day Shri Ram Katha with Pujya Morari Bapu has truly been an extended celebration of Yoga Day. She adds that IYD is also the summer solstice, the longest day of the year in which we have the most sunlight. Similarly, she shares, Yoga brings light to our lives and adds that for them the beautiful katha has been a great yoga, bringing so much light to show the way.
