World Environment Day in the Temple of the Redwoods

It was such a joy to celebrate world environment day at one of my favorite places in the world: Muir Woods! It is the sacred Temple of the redwood forest in the north San Francisco bay area. It is also the place where, in 1945, more than 500 delegates from 46 countries came and confirmed their commitment to forming the United Nations and also to protecting and preserving our natural world.
